Image Christian initiation is not a program.  It is the Church’s way of ministering sensitively to those who seek membership.  For that reason, some people will need more time than others to prepare for the lifetime commitment that comes with membership in the Catholic Church.

The process will depend on each individual parish, however, it usually commences around August/September with a weekly meeting and runs until Easter Vigil where the Sacraments of Initiation are celebrated.  After Easter vigil, you will continue to meet at Sunday Mass for 6 weeks with a meeting after Mass.  Pentecost Sunday is the last session in the process.
